This year is slowly coming to an end, and it's normal to want to think back on your experiences from the past. With your diary, you can get ideas, but you're more likely to see mental images instead of real-life ones.
You can also use third-party apps to create a video slide presentation for the year 2021. Alternatively, you can use Meta's 2021 Instagram Playback feature. Here, you'll discover more about Instagram's Year in Review feature, its advantages, and why you should use it this year.
When Instagram launched its "2021 Playback" feature on December 9, 2021, it was called "Year in Review." This feature lets you look back at your photos and videos from the past year.
The View Playback prompt is located at the top of your feeds and can be accessed by opening the Instagram app and tapping on it. If you don't see this prompt in your feed, it might be because the feature is being rolled out to users in phases, so expect it to show up in your region shortly.
It's also possible to use the 2021 sticker in other people's Playbacks or Stories to establish your own. Then again, this can be difficult to find.
Select View Your 2021 Playback from the drop-down menu. An animated presentation of all of your Stories from the previous year will be generated as a result. Is this really true? Yes, IG has an archive of all your past activities. (This can be turned off in the Settings). If you like what you see, tap Next and share your Playback.
It's also possible to add or remove stories from your Stories archive before adding it to Playback, where you can then share it to your Stories. In your Playback, you can also add things like text, stickers, filters, tags, or even mentions. Keep in mind, though, that you can only choose ten stories from your Stories archive to playback in 2021.
As a side note, this feature will only be available for a few weeks until the end of the year. So don't wait any longer.
