Solein is something that could absolutely revolutionize the entire food industry and provide real solutions to the global food crisis instead of the usual techno-babble of lab-grown meat (which, by the way, appears to be a dud and even assuming viability wouldn't feed those starving) and whathaveyou.

It seems bizarre to me than in a world where we are looking everywhere for new sustainable protein sources one that claims (with believability) to be incredibly sustainable is just shrugged off. It also is one possible way of storing excess solar production.

There should be investors on this. And competitors racing to make it a commercial reality. Well, it should take off with commercial production starting in 2023, at least.

I haven't found any company employing a similar concept, if there is one, I would like to know.
