Something extra special for children 🥰

We hope that children will know and believe and put their trust in God.

SUPPORT Kumusta ka na, Edward? Do you know the song “Jesus Loves the Little Children”? Sabi sa kanta, “[children] are precious in His sight.” But this line is more than just a catchy lyric. It’s a truth reflected in His interactions with children in the Bible. For example, sabi sa Mark 10, Jesus was “indignant” when He saw the disciples keeping the children from Him. He said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (v. 14) . From this alone, we can say that in Jesus’ kingdom, no one is insignificant—not even little children. And because Jesus wants the children to come to Him, it is our role as adults to lead them closer to Him. One way we can do this is by engaging them with His Word. So, in celebration of National Children’s Book Month and in keeping with the mandate to “tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord” (Psalm 78:4), Our Daily Bread Ministries launched a Bible engagement program for children ages 1 to 13.
