Imagine sitting by the window, all alone and eagerly waiting for a loved one to visit you. But no one ever comes.
That is the sad reality for many of the lolos and lolas in Luwalhati ng Maynila in Marikina City. We had the privilege of visiting them last year, and we can still remember how their eyes lit up when they saw us... how hungry they were for connection... and, as we said goodbye, how they eagerly asked us to come back.
So, this year, we are going back. To let them know that they are not forgotten—not by us and, more importantly, not by God. |
